Division of Labour

A voice and/or data network comprises three main areas of components; the carrier network between your sites or the internet, the transmission hardware at your site that enables you to communicate across the carrier network, and the security devices in your network to keep your communications safe.

P&C Communications' staff are cross–trained in all three areas, but each specialises in one of the divisions. Most projects will call on expertise from all three divisions, as all components rely on the others. In addition to network components each division provides individual specialist services.

Our Network Infrastructure specialists are experts in voice and data topology, hardware and configuration. Whether you need an independent network audit, want advice on the pros and cons of a new technology, or simply want to buy a new PABX, we have experts in legacy and converged systems – cabled or wireless.

You will have used the services of our Network Security specialists already; we provide the network encryption devices for many cash machines and other electronic payment services. Our services range from licensed middleware for a typical business to security cleared staff for government and 3DES devices for financial institutions.

Our Carrier Management specialists can take away the pain of dealing with your telecoms provider. From ordering and progress chasing, through fault reporting and the resolution of problems, to bill interpretation and dispute management.
